We started in Eagle Pass, Texas — a border city where Mexican culinary tradition runs deep and the flavors of authentic street food are a way of life. From day one, our mission was clear: bring the real taste of Mexico to our neighbors, without compromise.

Growing With Our Community

Word spread fast. Our slow-braised birria tacos, spit-roasted al pastor, and charcoal-grilled carne asada quickly became favorites across Eagle Pass. Customers kept telling friends, families kept coming back, and the line outside our door kept growing.

That success gave us the confidence to bring Takitos Con Sabor to a second home: San Antonio, Texas. San Antonio is a city that takes its Mexican food seriously — and we take that responsibility equally seriously. The same recipes, the same freshness, the same dedication. Two cities, one flavor.

Our Philosophy

We believe great tacos should not be complicated — but they should never be rushed. Every day before we open, our team hand-prepares fresh ingredients, slow-braises our meats, and makes our tortillas from scratch. There are no frozen shortcuts in our kitchen.
